My passion as a vocation ...
... is the reason I wrote a book.
Hi Fellow-Doglovers!
Yes, you read that correctly! I have written a book about my expertise as a dog owner and a nutrition expert. Soon an English version will be available. So stay tuned.
How I came to write a book, I hear you ask?
Well, for over 11 years, my two beloved dogs have shared my home and my heart: Lisa, a white female Golden Retriever, and Emma, a female Dachshund. What began as simple companionship developed into a profound understanding of the complex worlds of dog behaviour and the importance of optimal dog nutrition.
Communication is key
Communication between dogs and humans is a matter close to my heart. How often we don't understand our dog's behaviour. It looks to us as if our dog is not obeying us, but our pet is communicating with us all the time and trying to tell us what it needs. So I would describe myself as a dog observer, because I have actually been observing animals all my life and trying to understand their language with each other. Non-verbal communication works mainly through body language and the energy expressed, which I have always found fascinating. Effective communication is the key to a fulfilling relationship between dog and owner.
My passion: healthy dog nutrition
My passion for health, especially for dogs, also led to my training as a dog nutritionist. Today, I advise dog owners on the choice of food for their dogs. It is important that all nutrients are covered. Even in the case of illness, we can contribute to the animal's well-being with the right food. Natural remedies also contribute to this, which is why I am a big fan of them.
What my new book is all about
I summarise all this and more in my latest book "Wuffology". With this book, I want to deepen your knowledge for a better understanding of your pet and therefore share my experiences with my own two four-legged friends. I hope that I can enrich the lives of dogs and their owners with this book.
This is my passionate contribution to the well-being of dogs in connection with a harmonious relationship with their owners.
